Classes and Workshop Schedule

 

Herbalism 101

There will be two options for herbalism classes (June 2026).
Please see dates and pricing below.
  • Wednesdays from 5:30pm - 7:30pm from June 3rd through June 24th. This will cover all 4 modules, one each Wednesday over four weeks. You have the option to choose which classes you'd like to take.
  • OR Saturday, June 6th, from 11:00am - 6:00pm. This is a 7-hour, intensive workshop day that will cover all four modules in one immersive day of learning. Expect 6 hours of learning and hands-on work with a one-hour break in between. 

Pricing: The cost of each class is $50; However, Aum Herbs is offering a special $50 discount by registering for all four Wednesday classes or registering for the $150 Saturday intensive session.

Class Schedule

Salve Making 101 ~ June 3rd ~ $50
Join me for this quick 90-minute class on the basics of salve making. Handouts and samples provided. Learn about solar vs. heat infused base oils and about some great herbs that work well in this medium. What you learn here will help guide you to make any salve you want!

Tincture Making 101 ~ June 10th ~ $50
Learn the basics of using dried herbs to make a medicinal tincture. In this class I will demonstrate making a tincture. If you’d like to make your own - bring a jar, dried herb to fill up 3/4 of the jar, and a bottle of vodka or everclear, and we will get you started on your first tincture! I’m here to support and answer any questions to take the mystery out of creating your own tinctures at home.

Infusions/Decoctions 101 ~ June 17th ~ $50
This workshop will cover the ins and outs of preparing medicinal teas. You’ll learn how to prepare according to the plant part being used (roots/aerials) and how much time is required. In addition, learn to create a herbal infused Syrup - this is perfect for those who can not tolerate alcohol extractions.

Plant Ally Meditation ~ June 24th ~ $50
This guided meditation will take you on a journey to find your plant ally (allies). Jen will call in your spiritual ancestors, angels & guides to assist in this process. Please bring whatever you need to be comfortable lying on the floor (blanket, pillow, mat, etc.) and a journal. This meditation is meant to provide exploration, but also Relaxation in the highest regard!

About the Instructor 

Jen Padgett is an herbalist, mother, energy worker, and Priestess. She makes herbal remedies sold at aum-herbs.com. Her favorite thing to do is to teach and to gather women for ceremonial work, allowing each of us to remember who we truly are! If you are interested in other classes, stay tuned! Currently, A year-long Medicine Woman Priestessing Class is in the works and is expected to begin in September 2026!
